
About Pacific Cascade
Pacific Cascade FCU has been dedicated to enriching the lives of its members since opening its doors in 1961. Based out of Eugene, Oregon, Pacific Cascade FCU serves Lane, Linn, Benton, Coos, Lincoln and Douglas county as a member-owned institution.

Our History
1961: September 6, Eugene Municipal Federal Credit Union was born. We began in the back of a Eugene Firefighter’s station wagon (our first mobile unit).
1982: Eugene Municipal and Springfield Employees Federal Credit Unions merged together to become PUBLIC EMPLOYEES FEDERAL CREDIT UNION.
1983: Sacred Heart Federal Credit Union merged into Public Employees Federal Credit Union. At the same time, McKenzie-Willamette Hospital and medical offices in Lane County were added to our charter.
1986: New (1810 M Street) Springfield branch was built and moved from the existing office.
1991: Clear Fir Federal Credit Union merged with Public Employees Federal Credit Union.
1996: PEFCU changes its name to Pacific Cascade Federal Credit Union, a name better describing our growing more diverse membership from the Pacific to the Cascades. The Downtown Eugene Branch on Oak Street opened.
1999: Mid-November, Pacific Cascade becomes the first Community Charter Credit Union in Lane County. Our members prior to our Community Charter status were City government and medical of Lane County, plus several smaller, select employers.
2006: New Springfield Branch built at 1190 Mohawk Blvd.
2009: New Santa Clara Branch opened in July.
2011: Pacific Cascade celebrated 50 years!
2021: Pacific Cascade expanded to our current six counties to serve including Benton, Coos, Douglas, Lane, Lincoln, and Linn.
2024: New Roseburg Branch opened in September.
2026: Pacific Cascade celebrates 65 years!
Today we serve the following counties: Lane, Linn, Benton, Coos, Lincoln and Douglas. Currently, we have four locations in Eugene, Springfield, and Roseburg. As we gain members from our new counties, we will look to expand branches to best serve our growing membership.
